Peace Bridge

[Narcis Oblivion]

This is the newly constructed Peace Bridge which spans the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta. The river is almost completely frozen over and covered in snow. It was a beautiful winter's evening to be out and about taking pictures.

Interesting architecture indeed! From the outside, it looks like a pedestrians bridge. The inside reveals that it has sidewalks on both sides and the asphalt center lane for cars.

Thanks all for the comments. The bridge is in fact pedestrians and bicycle traffic only, no cars.

Beautiful bridge and so well captured. I like the way the blue white fluorescent light turns the red interior to purple on the outside shot.
