Count your bluebird blessings

There's an old saying about counting your blessings when you spot a flock of bluebirds...

"One you'll have sadness..."

"Two you'll have joy..."

[mole]

"Three get a letter..."

[mole]

"Four get a boy..."

[mole]

"Five receive silver..."

[mole]

"Six receive gold..."

[mole]

Six was all I saw that fine sunny day, but there is more to the blessings rhyme.

Some folks say you can count vultures instead, so...

"Seven's a secret that's never been told..."

"Eight a love letter with promises three..."

"Nine means your true love's as true as can be."

"So stop all your hurrying and worrying away
Take time for dreaming on a summer's day.
Wait for the bluebirds, and when they come along
Count your blessings with the bluebird song!"
