Default Shaking things loose...

Was watching this trumpeter swan as he "claimed" a muskrat lodge. Then, he decided to loosed up and shook like a dog. Can't be poised and graceful all the time, I guess.

Thanks for the comment, Phil. We're still getting snow and cold during what's should be spring. May3rd. and more snow today. I think the muskrats took one look a few weeks ago and went back to sleep for another month.

G'day mate ... and in the great land downunder we're going into winter

Currently I am in southern Queensland - latitude about equal to your Miami or Mexico's Monterrey. Right now it's sunup - 7am and the temp is 16deg C [60-ish F?] the sky is clear and it'll end up as a great day with temps in the mid 20s C [hi-70s?] and I'm wandering around in t-shirt & shorts. Bugga of a life

Maybe I'll get the camera out and give it a fright !!
