Default A view from my summer cabin porch

Hi all! Hey, I really had a great time last weekend, enjoying the perfect weather for Midsummer's. I ws at our family cabin, tucked away in the Finnish forest and along a two kilometre lake (Lake Vihi). Sitting on the porch, well I just had to take this shot. The old sauna is on the left, the lake is toward the front, and on the right of the boat is a pathway to the lake. As you can see, photographing Birch trees is not the easiest thing, at least for me... there are a lot of details in the photo, thanks to the small Birch tree leaves. I did try to minimize it a little.T hanks for looking. Ned

Many kind thanks, Mole, et. al!!! Glad you enjoyed the panorama. It is a nice place to get away from it all.

mole and mtnman talked about the serenity of the location...sitting back and enjoying the beauty while the world goes by..... I find it an incredibly busy and intriguing location..... a mythical wood...from which I expect to see busy little elves, or hobbits, or some such high energy, but good guy creature, emerge at any moment.
