Wow -- quite a site! Is the color being influenced by the fire at Yosemite at all, understanding that Yosemite is a few hundred miles south?

A rare sight indeed. Two rainbows and two lenticular clouds in the same shot. This one would have been a sure winner in the other forum's sky contest.

I agree with all the previous comments -- this is a fantastic photo. It must have been stunning to see first-hand.

Went out the the door, stared and went straight for my camera. It only lasted about 20 minutes. The view is toward the west so the Yosemite fire is not involved. Just one of those amazing mornings.
