Default Baby Gators

There were about 21 little ones crawling and swimming. The whole batch would not make a good gator tail meal.

Great photos of the young'uns!

Showing my ignorance of gator biology - are these all recent hatchling from the same clutch of eggs? Do parents stay and guard the young?

Yes, it is from one nest. Yes the mom was near by. The male gators, birds, and even bass will eat the young. Most will not make it to adulthood.
