Default November Monthly Challange-Macro

Thanks for the votes. We'll go with "Macro." All rules apply, a Pentax interchangeable lens camera must be used on an image from the last 90 days or during the contest period and resized to 800 pixels on the long side. Have fun.

Always a fun topic for me. Hopefully I'll do some shooting this month, I haven't done much at all recently.

I may change my entry later on. Macro is about my favorite thing so I assume I'll be playing around with it much more during the month. But I'll post this one now - it was taken this afternoon. Pinon pines have small single needles, and when you look at them normally you don't really see the fine whitish lines on them.

I like the simplicity of this watch. DL with kit lens and close-up filters.

Default "Orchid"

We had a new orchid hanging near the front door, and I had the Tamron 90mm macro on and took a couple of pictures of it. It was only then that I realized its true texture!

Time to vote. One vote for the the orchid. It took a macro to know its true nature.
