Mark - Glad you enjoyed the icicles - will be posting a few more icy photos soon.

MtnMan - We are indeed blessed with a lush green region! This spot is much greener in the summer, but much less water flow...

Hans - Thanks! That was the framing I was aiming for, but very slippery rocks and steeply sloping landscape made it a bit tricky...

That ice sure adds some beauty! Don't think I would have ventured down there - that ice looks too slick for me. So I'll just admire your photos instead.

As always some beautiful work. I particularly liked the contrasts in the second shot of the series. Really dramatic.
