Default Forgotten gem

Well, I think it is. Died unappreciated. I guess price was one of the major causes . Anyway it's a great camera when paired with one of those APC modules. Highly customizable with some unique features.

All C&C welcomed.

K5 II + Tamron 17-50 2.8
I'm not fan of focus stacking but I guess this one could use this treatment

K5 II + Vivitar S1 105 Macro 2.5

Pentax K-3 II, DA 50/1.8, Vivitar S1 105/2.5 macro, Tamron 70-200/2.8, Sigma 18-35/1.8 Art

I remember holding the GXR at a Pentax event in New York right after Ricoh bought the company. The camera felt like it was carved from a single block of magnesium. It was wonderful and I fell in love. But by the time I could scrape together enough money to seriously contemptate buying a GXR, it was clear that it was already on its way out. A pity. Many Pentaxians were pining for a 16mp APS-C K-mount module. Can you imagine attaching an FA or DA Limited prime to that?

How different is the GXR from the Pentax K-01?
