Default Swamp Buggy races

Cross a dragster with a Bass boat and you get a Swamp Buggy, and they race them for money??? Fun afternoon watching water spray and things getting pulled out of the water with heavy equipment when they stall
The races are against the clock and the fastest time winning. The buggies start from a standing start and cross the finish line at speed. The track starts in about 3 of water and goes to about 4 to 5 ft deep in several areas around the track, the trick is to get the front end on plane and keep it up for 2 trips around the figure 8 track to the finish line.

At the start

And yes we have a Swamp Buggy Queen, a very articulate and talented young lady that kept us informed, I was impressed with her stage presents, seemed like she has been doing this for years, very confident.

Wow, what an event! And, what a name for the queen of the event. You did great stopping the action of the buggies.
