Default K1 and AF540GFZ II flash

I promise to post these photos of my 49th high school reunion. Here they are. shot using PTTL and a one or two without the flash. Some especially the solo shots of me and the group shots I'm in were shot by one of the wives in attendance and she was nervous as she had never used a camera before. I don't shoot with a flash much and am quite pleased with the way these came out.

I like them. I'm horrible with flash too. Is the II version of the 540 better than the original one?

Hi Big Dawg, didn't recognise you without the chin warmer, :-). It's good to see old friends.

Supposed to be better weather sealed and quicker on recharge. Better? I can't really say as this is the first Pentax flash I've owned.

Good to see you too Simon. Been a while but I'm semi back. I've retired so too much time on hand.

I don't do well with flash either. Here is a sample from a K5 with the older AF540FGZ. Nothing to bounce from so this is direct on camera flash.

Straight out of camera jpeg, just resized. I shoot events in RAW+ so I can use the jpegs if they are okay or process the RAW if they are not.
