Default New Toy and a Beautiful Model

Hi folks, finally making it back to the forum after several heart procedures and weaknesses that limited my ability to go shooting. Last month, I made it to a Cardinal game for the first time, and lugging around a K-5 with grip, flash, etc. and multiple lenses, convinced me it was time to lighten my gear.

Today, I took delivery on a K-S2 to pair with a Pentax 18-250. Incredibly lighter. and I like what I got for first day. (Grandma and Grandpa were baby sitting) All processing in Photoshop--too soon to learn in-camera.

Glad to see you back. I haven't really lightened my load (although the battery grip is now in a drawer, don't really need it.) but I have an Olympus micro 4/3 kit for when I don't want to lug around the Pentax. BTW I really only normally carry the two kit lenses and a 50mm f1.7 so the bag isn't that heavy in daily use.

Looks good! I love my K-S1 though I haven't been shooting with it much. But I do appreciate lighter gear, too.

Hope your health problems are in your rear view mirror, or in the past.
