http://www.dpreview.com/news/0507/05...rofitsfall.aspMany on the web have been predicting the demise of pentax today. I'd say they still are making a profit so it sounds like just a bump in the road. Also they seem commited to dslr more than ever wich should turn out to be a good thing.

I think the Sony/Konica Minolta partnership announced today is the wave of the future. If I was Pentax, I would be looking in that direction.

Just market forces at work. What's imortant is that they shift gears immediately and stay in the game. That's good news for us consumers by the way (expect prices to fall).
