Sorry for not replying back sooner but blah-blah-blah prevented me from doing so. Thanks everybody for your replys, and based on the replys, and this fantabulous forum, (andmy "loot" situation),... I`m gonna take a chance and go with theDS and 35mm era lense combo in the near future. When I do, I`ll be sure to letcha all know how it works out.

Go out and shoot something this weekend!

This is not unique to Pentax lenses. According to thread on this forum it is not unusual in Nikon ditigals and happens to Canon equipment too.


I do have a new Sigma zoom (18-125) designed for Digitl SLRs butI use mainly older lenses.

My two favorites are a Vivitar 200mm prime (screw mount) and an olderSigma 70-300mm zoom.

I mainly used the Sigma
