I picked up an old Takumar lens off e-bay to use with my DS. It was supposedly in excellent condition but when I received it I noticed what looks like tiny cracks on the inside of the lens. I don't know what it is exactly but I can describe it as spiderweb-ish. I attached a photo and hopefully someone can tell me how this might have happened and if it's a big deal or not. Thanks

can't be sure but it looks like a lot of fungus. almost impossible to clean yourself. i bought a lens off ebay as a whim, about $9 delivered. think the lens was $1.75. i could hardley see thru it. i've got parts tho if anyone needs them..

The seller shouldve mentioned if there was any mould on it. Perhaps have another look at the auction to see if you overlooked this?
