Bought this lens off of ebay for what seems like next to nothing. Seems to perform ok. Some ca's, but who can complain for $70. Here's a few samples......thekman.

Which lens? I have a Pentax FA 100-300mm f4.7-5.8 that cost about that, it works very well, I did this with it:

looks very sharp at 5.6. do you know how to get rid of the CA. the right program will eliminate it quite easily. what do you use?

It's the F 100-300mm 4.5-5.6. Works pretty well for a cheapie......thekman.

Thanks Roy. It's not too bad for sharpness, but I did a small amount of USM on all of these, plus a crop too. I have Photoshop Elements 2 and CS. I shot these in jpg. I don't usually do bird photoing in RAW, as my success rate is low, and I need lots of photos to get a few acceptable ones. What program for ca's do you know of? Thanks....thekman.
