Went to a nearby monastary to try for some bird pictuces, but since I was running a little late and they were about to close the gates, I had to settle for this.

Quantaray 70-300, F6.7, 1/250, ISO 800, 133 mm

jim, this is nice. magnolias are strange plants. i've gotten some great macros of them when the flower is open and you can see the inside. a macro yields some nice returns.
