hi guys.. i just got into photography with my purchase of a ds2 last week(please ignore my dumbness :G).. i inherited 3 lenses, a dozen of filters and 2 flash units from my dad.. (that's what i like about pentax..!!!)

ok for the lenses but for the flash units?? one is pentax af-330ftz which works well with my ds2(ttl etc.).. the other one is sunpak pz-40x for nikon.. the sunpak worked well with the older pentax film SLRs but the TTL doesn't work with my ds2.. i have to use the manual mode.. i like the sunpak better(for indoor) because it has angle adjustments and the flash i s more powerful.. i did a search in this forum and found topics about trigger voltage and stuffs which can damage my camera.. so the question is, how to determine whether the flash is compatible with my ds2 and to what extent it will damage my camera??

thanx guyss..!!!!
