. . . Georgetown Loop, location of a mining company in the late 1800's. Unbelieveable how difficult working conditions were in those days! Life expectancy 35-40 as a miner.

There you go again, posting those lovely Colorado pictures. I especially love the second one - it certainly gets across the idea that the train ride might not be for someone suffering from acrophobia.

I like the first one. If it wasn't for smoke and steam you could say this train is a toy .

Nice photos, Lawrence-

I like both photos. That lens seems to work well on the Pentax DL/DS. It has good color and reasonable sharpness.
