Hi All,
Was out searching out birds yesterday, and while using the iPod with the bird songs, I spotted this Grey Catbird checking out all the noise. I've found them to be about the most curious of the species around here, which is coincidental to their name, which I thought was given because one of the diverse calls they are capable of is a very catlike mew. Anyway, this one flew in, then while perched there watching me taking some shots, it burped up this intact berry, then just as quickly swallowed it again. I was taken by surprise, but got these three consecutive shots, the first two one second apart, and the third, two seconds later. Too bad I couldn't anticipate this and get it a 3 fps continuous. ![]() ![]() ![]() A much better act, IMO, than what I've seen on "America's Got Talent". . .:-) Scott |

Excellent series, great detail in those shots and the catch lights in the birds eyes are a bonus. Maybe next time he will try juggling!

Lovely series snostorm. I love it when you not only get a good shot of a bird or animal, but also it's inherent behavior. Great stuff!!...cheers...Don
