Hi All,
I just loaded these two on Flickr to post at another place, so I figured I might as well post em here too. This guy is a permanent resident at the local Nature Center as he was a rescue, and only has one eye. . . but is still a handsome devil. The cage is about 5 feet away from the waist-high fence, so I had to lean over as far as possible to throw the cage bars as far out of focus as possible. You can see that the bar intrudes a bit behind the eye, but really only if you're looking for it. ![]() Here's a 100% crop of the eye area. if you look really closely, you can see my reflection in the center of his eye

Do you like the lens?????
![]() ![]() ![]() The bar/fence/net problem is a nuisance, but you managed to handle it quite well in this shot. Kjell |

Both are very cool. You managed the fence much better than my visit to the zoo last month.

Great shot - and fine work blurring out the cage details while capturing great detail in his feathers. Thanks for sharing!
