Default Harvest Moon

Just after moonrise tonight, I got a chance to capture a beautifully colored moon.

Handheld with the K-7 and the Bigma. ISO 125, F/11, 1/100 sec... manual focus and exposure. PP.....Lighten shadows 15%....Unsharp mask 1.1 pixels, 52%.... PSE 7. Shadow on the right is from the high branches of a tree I had to try to shoot around.

I've been watching the moon all week. But, there's no way I can capture it like this. Good job, Paul.

You must have the hands of a surgeon-great shot-just handholding that lens is an accomplishment!

Nice!

ALso watched the moon and swore I'd capture it, but failed to set-up the tripod. Looks like I should have opted for handheld.

Paul this post slipped by me.

Excellent hand held shot with the 500mm lens. The color of the moon was great.

Nice job!

Nice shot Paul I thought it was funny I shot the same photo but from the other side of the world. I need a teleconverter to get that close though.
