Nice sharp detail on the bottlebrush, and very interesting composition and use of light on the fern.

It looks a lot like our native Christmas fern - any idea which species it is?

Rodney, I've noticed you've been doing a lot of these shots lately using available light in creative ways. I like your results.
#2 is my favorite of this set.

Thank You GW, I have been reading a few books I got for my birthday that have inspired me to try some different shots, I'm glad you like them.

Rodney,

I also like your creative use of light in these pictures.

I have not seen a Bottle Brush tree since I lived in California. I loved the blossom and foliage as it was so different from our Eastern trees.

I like the fern with the OF frond on the left and IF on the right to balance the photo and add interest.
