I was in Jacksonville Florida visiting my brother and his family.I took these shots of my niece's horse Dolly having a cooling roll in the sand after a workout. The whole thing looked quite comical in the end.

I noticed that she got both sides scratched. So often I'd go out to the field to catch my horse and admire his gleaming dark brown coat. I'd think that cleaning him up wouldn't be a problem, until he turned around and I'd see all the mud caked on his other side!
Good series of photos, love the second one - that's a horse that's really scratching all over! |

Thank you all again for your comments. The third one stands out in my mind only because my niece said she looks like a lama and dare I say it she was immediately christened "Dolly-Lama". :-)
