I have a 2 year old Pentax S40 that just stopped working. All of sudden, the camera would not turn on. Once I removed the memory card from the camera, I was able to turn it on. If I re-inserted the memory card, the camera wouldn't turn on again. If I turned the camera on with the memory card removed and then inserted the memory card with the camera still on the camera immediately turned itself off. At the same time the camera started acting up, the memory card no longer clicks into its slot. When the card is inserted into the camera, you can no longer push on it to have it spring out. You have to manually pull it out. Not sure if a pring or something has bent which has caused the on/off problem?

Your help is much appreciated.
