Default Using optio s charger internationally

I am looking at purchasing either the optio s or s4 and will be travelling internationally. I was wondering if the charger is 110 and 220 voltage compatable. I know I will need an adapter but am hoping I wont also need voltage converter. Can't seem to find any info about the charger.

Can anybody help me out. Even just taking a look at the charger to see if there is a voltage range would be great.

thanks rob

I have two Optios (S4i and 555) and both chargers can be used on 240V, 50Mhz. In fact, I haven't seen a camera charger, laptop charger nor any other portable device in years that wasn't multivoltage rated. As you acknowledge, you will need a converter plug for the appropriate outlets, but these are cheap and readily available.

I've got the Optio S4 and the charger is rated at 110V / 240V. It actually has a large range of voltages and frequencies that it can handle, which makes it perfect for taking on holidays. Just pack the approriate pin adaptor(s)!
