I also got the A90 error on my Pentax Optio S4. I can access the 'secret menu' however the firmware file I was able to locate on the internet (ROM.bin) which is different from the one listed on these forums gave me an error message. It must also be said that it is the same version as my current one 1.00 so it won't have helped anyway I guess.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone can can please email me fwdc114p.bin to update my camera to see if it will solve the problem.

I know this is a year after the last post but I searched everywhere for it and only on this forum does it seem to exist.
