I just bought a Pentax Optio SV the other day and so far am extremely happy with it. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of the best way to manually set the camera for great indoor shots in the evening. I've learned alot the last few days about the manual settingsand have almost got the camera figured out.

Also, does the aperture not go abover F/8? My friend told me about the "sunny 16" rule of shooting on bright, sunny days but I can't seem to get the aperture above F/8.

Thanks for any help!
