I would be curious to know if you also shot it with full DOF and if you have any color variations of the pic.

Your landscape prowess definitely transfers to doing "portraits". I have always preferred outdoor portraits...they seem so much more alive.

Hello digcamfan! Thank you very much, I haven't seen any posts from you in a while, it is nice to hear from ya! I shot this with my D-50 f-8 1-250 in p mode. I do have the color versions but they really didn't look nearly as nice as the conversions.

thanks for posting the photo... I think I'm like you... things to like about it, and maybe some aspects that aren't the best. Still a decent photo all in all, and I DO like the idea!
