Default Korean Farmer

I used to live on a rural island in Korea. In the fall they burn the remnants of the crops, and I went out to get some shots. This is one of my favourites.

this is a superb shot. i love the context, i love the way you captured the farmer. he looks tired, which conveys the feeling of him working hard all day. and the black and white treatment is great.

i am really enjoying your work.

I too love this shot, but without the explanation my first reaction would be "fog" and not "fire." What does this shot look like in color?

Brings back childhood memories of sugar cane burning just before harvesting in Jamaica. Nice job.

...I like this photo very much, the composition is excellent in it presentaion rule of thirds in that the width of the photo behind the tired appearing farmer TELLS a story of his work.

Great photo and B&W is a very good selection for this.

This is quite an amazing shot - it works perfect in B&W, couldn't imagine that in color
