Hope you don't mind. I took the liberty to work a little bit on #1 cause the pick is so good.
Selective sharpening of the face and the hands, levels, desaturating, resizing, Topaz clean, etc.:

You chose some great backgrounds for texture and the chair and the background of #1 are a great match.
