Nice way to start the year. Exposure looks fine to me although that's a tough reflection off the dress to deal with.
The skin color in the first shot looks a little off. White balance maybe? The hair light may be better using a snoot to focus a brighter light directly on her hair without getting the reflection off the shoulder.

i like this one a kind of innocence look to it, the only thing i would do which is taotally a personal choice is a bw conversion i think it works much better with shots like this

I agree...
Also a more 'squarish' crop on Kerri face would work better in B/W.

If the exposure is correct in the first photo, why is the forehead shiny/white while in the second it looks normal. I would think this would be a tough situation for which to get the exposure right, but I'm not sure it's perfect in the first one. |

![]() They were metered with an incident meter from two preset studio strobes (i.e. the light stayed constant throughout the entire shoot)! The only likely blown out area might be the bright lower reflection areas on Kerri's black shiny outfit (in both #1 and #2), but not in any of her forehead. -> Check it with the eyedropper tool in Photoshop
