Seen sitting on the sand at the beach. An experiment in hi-key and vignette.

Ya, they are interesting photo ideas. Very antique looking (at least to me).

I personally prefer B&W, but some might enjoy/prefer sepia.

I hope you can locate the parents of this child and offer them this special portrait. This is a image that any parent would treasure.

My two cents... they are both wonderful captures but on my laptop screen #1 the background is overblown out (i.e your term hi-key) and the second one is more spot on. I do like the poses of both. Great job in the capture.
