yeah "autostitch" is free and downloadable..

its what i've been using..

find its very fast, easy and it "spits out" the full frame for you to crop as you like in PS etc...

the main thing though is it seems to handle striaghtening "bent" panoramas and it joins them very well!

thanks for everyones input - i will have to have another shooting session at the loch and see if i can put into practice some of the suggestions.

i really like the way you have framed the photos with a tree/bush on the left and a sawn tree on the right, good composition, perhaps try for better clouds when you go again and the sun lower to get more contrast in the trees across the water, just a thought, good luck
