Here are a few pictures to show the difference between straight out of the camera jpeg and the same picture taken in raw and converted into jpeg after post treatment with 'rawtherapee' program.

Ok , you`ll see only part of the difference in this format but you can download the originals if you want a better idea.


I`m new to raw convertions so i know that my work is not perfect and there is still place for improvement but i`m posting this because i know that many people wonder what is really the difference and what all the fuss is about . Anyway that`s what i thought a couple of weeks ago.

That was interesting, really liked the shot of the church too.
