Ok....in my quest to understand how things work, or in my case....don't, in a frame, I took one landscape subject, and presented it in three different perspectives. I know which one I like, and why, but I'd love to see other opinions, Ok

I like number 2 best. It shows enough detail and better balance than either 1 or 3. The composition is better as well. Each zoom gets closer to the water which is uninteresting and not worth the trip. The first shot I dont like because I feel it should be a pano and that something is missing from the right side.

OK! here's my quick answer indicating my order of preference as I'm just about to leave home now, which is : 1-3-2 (though there's little to chose between the 3rd and 2nd ones for me!). So I might come back to this topic later ; )

The moment I saw #1itabsorbed me, in the first place, for its thesinceresentiment of the'performer'whichpasses on tome as in the way Tolstoy's point of view in art in his late period! and thenits completeness and tasteful composition, which could still be improveda little, however.

The 3rd one has its own meritswith its fascinating reflections and complimenting warm colours yet lacking a little in terms of completeness, imo. As for the second picture which hasthe most'zoom' feel on me; I also liked it due to the 'warmer' layer of foliageover the 'cooler' one both of which hover over an enchanted pond!

Well done, mate
