I got a new camera for Christmas. On Saturday when I got bored I drove around Cleveland taking pictures. It was a blast. I have never taken any low light photos before. I really enjoyed it. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.

This picture was taken looking west of the Carneige Bridge in Cleveland, Ohio.

My camera is a Panasonic dmc-fz7

You are off to a good start with this one as there are some nice elements here.

The good:

You got low giving a more interesting perspective

The exposure of the sky detailing the cloud pattern nicely

To change:

The towers would probably have looked better if they were balanced or if one was not in the frame, as mentioned in another photo of yours this is about some zooming with the camera or with your feet.

If you can adjust the ISO so you can bring the shutter speed down while getting the same exposure then this will make the light trails a little more interesting as for me the shutter is open a bit too long.
