I'm way behind on things (been busy) and didn't see this until today. That's quite a picture, definitely dramatic. I love it as is, it's a very concentrated picture, focuses my eye just where it should be on the subject.

This is like a painting of the good old time!

Chiaroscuro comes to my mind and Caravaggio and other painters of this periode. You might have some dark patches with no details, but hey, com on - look on the "bright side". This is good, good, good!

It's right up my street, anyway.
