Default First shots upgrading from Xsi to 50D-Basketball C&C

This is my first shot with 50D, and now I can go higher than iso1600. My standard setting with the xsi was iso 1600, f/2.0, 1/400 r 1/320, partial metering , AI servo, center point focus, which is what I used here.
Anyone have different settings I could try in these poorly light gyms? I am wondering if If cranking up ISO to 2000/2500 and bring shutter up to around 1/800 would make sharper pics??? what do you guys think?

For this shot i think you got a good pose however i see part of an arm and left on both sides of the frame that are distracting me. I don't know what to tell you about the lighting unless you can get some strobes off the ceiling tell them to buy more lights!
