Default Fishing

Was not expecting much from this image as the light was not that good and I only had my Casio P600 with me.

I tried cropping it a few ways, none of them that successful as the birds are well to the left of the image.

Capturing a specific moment while constrained by the shutter lag of a P&S is not easy. Nicely done.

You've already identified what I think are the two major issues, the flat light and the composition. And the is really FLAT light - I can't recall seeing a splash photo with so little water sparkle before.
