I also see the love & affection being offered to the small girl & the smile on her face showing the world how proud she is of her Grandma ... and Grandma has taken a moment to give her feet a rest as well

Wife and I fought a little of the cropping (she won), so I was looking to see what others thought about the shot. Plus shooting people you know is a safe way to do sheet photography and not get yelled at for taking a picture.

300+mm lenses are good for that purpose, no one are ever the wiser. But the little girl seem to have caught you in the act.

True on both counts but can't afford a 300.28L and the little girl is my garanddaughter, so she likes me taking her picture.

a beautiful capture , a very special moment there is nothing wrong with the colour but have you tried a bw version? i also love your grandaughter is looking at you as you can see the affection in both faces

Haven't tried B&W but was thinking about it last night. Will have to give it a shot just to see how it would look.
