Hi all,
I saw this wooden boat and thought it was quite nice. It is in Supetar on the Island Brac in Croatia. I think I took a reasonable photo but please tell me where I have gone wrong. It was taken with a canon p&s so was trying to get the light right.

Here is what I would have done. One would think that with all that fine equipment that you posess, why use a P&S?

Hi To all,
Thankyou for your comments, Regarding my fine equipment: There was a last minute mix up and I forgot to bring my Nikon altho I had the lenses. The thing I learnt there is to keep all your gear together so will be investing in a bag that carrys all that I need within reason. I was only going to take the p&s just for quick family snaps etc and the nikon for the more serious stuff. Regarding the cropping of the picture: I did not understand it at first and until today I think I know why the cropped version looks better and that I assume is because of the blown hilights at the left side of picture. Thank you all for giving an insight.
