Default Opinions appreciated

Do you think the water in the foreground adds to this image?

Thanks.

I find it rather distracting since it seems to obstruct as well as compete with the birds.

Thanks Wingman and I can't say that I disagree. Just wasn't sure if this would add another element to the image or just get in the way.

Would love to get some more opinions.

G'day JJd

Nope
ps- using the rhs scroll bar to push the image up/down, I would crop out about 2/3 of the water below the boat. BUT for me - the water splash dominating the image makes it a non-keeper

Regards, Phil

Thanks Phil, appreciate the feedback. Good thing I took some without the splash.

The water in the foreground could have been an interesting addition if it was in focus. As it is it just made the shot suitable for the bin.

These are just OUR opinions and shouldnt influence how YOU feel about it. If you like it or dont like it is the main thing. The only thing to be learned is what others think.
