Default Is is a "Ho-hum" photo...or?

I posted this shot on the Transportation forum and it got 124 views with no comments in 2 days. It made me wonder if it was mediocre, or if folks on that forum are mainly interested in shots of airplanes taking off from airport runways. What's your take? BTW, it is a 1915 Ford, or "Tin Lizzie".

Not mediocre at all, Walter. I get the same thing in most any forum I post in. Zero comments with 650 views. I had the same thoughts. I stopped posting here for a while because of it. But, it seems like ALL the photo forums are getting to be the same. Don't let it stop ya. Hupo meno!

Thanks, Gary. BTW, I spent my youth in Kentucky (4-22 yrs), including a year in the Louisville Portland area. A beautiful state.

Shot with a WA lens (16-35) and post-processing with Topaz' B&W Filters.

Nice capture & treatment!

For me its funny how the treatment works both for the Ford in making it look vintage and the truck beside it to look like a stylized poster!

I love it!

OK, this is the third time I have looked at this, and I think I figured out what bothers me about it. It's too clean. The fairly heavy sepia treatment just doesn't look right without some corresponding film grain to complete the vintage look.
I would probably prefer the original color photo.

Thanks, Brian. Here is a color version. Taken around 7 a.m. as the sun was just coming up. The cars in the car show were still in shade, so there was little contrast and the sky in the background was blown.
