It is more a matter of personal preference than right or wrong. I have always found it simpler to maintain a folder on my PC with some resized photos for posting, than to keep up with an online hosting site. (probably mostly due to not having a fast, reliable internet connection for so long)

I keep almost all my originals on the computer, but not any resizes. I can resize dynamically when required. Board posting does not usually allow that luxury.

The only reason i should use an online service, is when i want to keep the original size but show a smaller thumbnail here.

Did i get it this time?
Yes that sounds about right
