G'day mate

Almost 100 views and no feedback ... so I thought i'd open it and see what it's all about

Sorry Musket - I don't think that I can offer you any helpful advice, beyond the obvious in that the image is merely a snapshot of a moment in time

Hope this is okay
Phil

@ Ozzie_Traveller fair dinkum at least you commented lol

You could have added something about the perspective, rule of thirds, exposure, clarity, choice of colours or lens mm size for this sort of shot. Is it in focus?, is there any lens flare? is there any unacceptable noise etc;? lol

I thought I would insert an uncompressed file here to see if anyone can tell the difference between it and the original compressed file? lol

A larger file size should contain more information than a smaller compressed file.

G'day mate

You're right ... I spoze that I could have added all those fairly obvious things, but a qwik look at your ID shows you to be an experienced 'tog & contributor, so I didn't contemplare that you needed to be told the obvious

However, your pic does look like many of mine - so we're both in great company

Colors are good and focus is good. However, I don't see a focal point in the scene. It is quite "busy", if you know what I mean. Left me wondering, what did the photographer see that I seem to be missing?

Just to follow up on my comment about having a focal point. The right side of the shot may have led someone to think of kids coming home after school since the bus, the kids and the apartment building would lead one to that assumption.

Good comment well caught, I knew it would take an experienced op to come up with something sensible. lol
