Default "Farm Market"

I was out on a walk and took a wrong turn--found this little scene at the end of a two mile long dead-end road. I just liked all of the little elements here, so I guess getting lost isn't always such a bad thing at all.

I think I like it overall, but am not sure about the B&W treatment I was experimenting with--Nik SilverEFX, which I'm not really used to. Obviously the sky is blown out, and the leaves don't look that great, but it was straight into the sun and I'm not sure it bothers me in B&W (though if you have ideas on how to make it better I'm all ears). Please let me know what you think . . .

G'day mate

The mono treatment does not move me one way or the other - ie: it's okay to my eye. What does grab my eye negatively is the legs of the table - for some reason their slenderness seems out of kilter with the bulk of the building

Maybe ... if the bottom of the frame went thru the centreline of the table??
Also being a stickybeak, it would be nice to read all the label on the box

Hope this helps
Phil

Hey Phil,

Yeah, the table doesn't do much for me either. Maybe you're right and I should crop it. In a perfect world it would have been a rickety old wooden box instead of plastic-and-metal.

Haha, I also agree with the part about the sign on the box. I wanted to move it but didn't want to touch MKT's things. I could have moved around just a tad but I liked how the building and everything looked from this angle.
