I've often wanted to get a shot of the moon with a detailed lunar landscape, AND at the same time have the sky around the moon look in the photograph like it does to the naked eye at noon on a summer day (even though it's taken at night). I guess I'd have to take two shots and edit the two together?

Also, is it possible on the Canon S1 IS, with spot metering, to underexpose the sun by 4 stops AND have motion blur by a few diameters? How many ND filters would I need to be able to get a 15" shutter speed (to get blur), ISO 400 (to make it grainy) on the sun and have it underexposed?
