Here is a pic taken from a famous civil war battlefield. Looking for tips on composition. The original was in color and converted to B&W

great shot, i personally would crop some off the bottom, it takes away from the subject and make it somewhat bottom heavy.

even w/out that it's a great picture. great capture

nice shot man.. i really like this one.. my only concern is that appears to be oversharpened just a bit, or it suffered from compression artifacts, i can't really tell.. a quick edit using levels could also help give you a truer black and improve yourcontrast a bit... good eye, this is a good shot..
