Well, I finally took a walk to this secluded park. I'm from southern California. Perhaps you might find similar things in your neighborhood too. I sure didn't know what I was going to find since I hardly ever visit that park. I knew there was only one thing that had photographic potential and it isn't there in this time of year. Oh well...

1. The cart in the mud originally had a warm color. I made it cooler to better match the mood I wanted. The original color is here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ginalcolor.jpg

3. This is the back of a sign that probably forbids you to do something naughty, but it was completely unlegible.

4. This is the bottom of what is leaking out of a water fountain.

5. I have no idea why there are so many metal ropes sticking out of ground in the park...

7. Not really rot or rust, but just wanted to end with something different:

Here is a backup link in case photobucket isn't working:

All shot with Rebel XT and Canon EF-S 17-85mm

Love 4 and 5, exspecially 4. I am a sucker for photos with few elements. All you've got is color and a line. Looks like an envelope from the desk of Oscar the Grouch.
